Improve Your Swing by Improving How You Move

A Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) assessment designed to identify movement limitations, improve efficiency, and help you play your best golf.

A Different Approach to Golf Performance

The most efficient golf swing is not the same for every player. It’s based on how your body moves.

At Summit Physical Therapy, our Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) assessment looks beyond your swing to understand the physical limitations that may be affecting your performance.

By identifying mobility restrictions, strength imbalances, and movement patterns, we help you build a more efficient swing that works with your body, not against it.

What Is a TPI Assessment?

A TPI assessment combines a physical evaluation with swing analysis to identify what may be limiting your performance. It looks at your mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and how your body moves during your swing, helping connect what your body can do with how you swing the club so any changes are based on your physical ability rather than guesswork.

What’s Included in Your Assessment

Comprehensive Physical Evaluation

A 60-minute assessment of key movements related to strength, mobility, balance, and coordination, all specific to golf performance.

Swing Analysis

Video and movement analysis from multiple angles to identify swing patterns and areas for improvement.

Detailed Analysis Report

You’ll receive a breakdown of findings, including how physical limitations may be impacting your swing.

Corrective Exercise Plan

A follow-up session where you’ll be guided through a personalized program designed to improve movement, reduce injury risk, and support a more efficient swing.

Why This Matters

Many swing issues are not just technical. They are physical.

If your body lacks the mobility or stability needed for certain positions, your swing will compensate. That can lead to inconsistent performance, frustration, and even injury over time.

By improving how your body moves, you can develop a swing that is more efficient, more repeatable, and better suited to you.
